Common questions about mobile denture care

We understand that arranging denture care at home can come with questions. Below are answers to the most common enquiries about our mobile denture services, repairs and treatment process.

  • We come to your home, retirement village or nursing home and provide full denture care on-site. This includes consultations, impressions, adjustments and many repairs using our fully equipped mobile dental laboratory.

  • Yes, we provide home visits and aged care visits across the Central Coast. We regularly attend private homes, retirement living and nursing homes.

  • We service the Central Coast including Woy Woy, Gosford, Erina, The Entrance and Wyong. We also travel to Sydney and Newcastle by arrangement.

  • No special preparation is required. If possible, have your current dentures available and any relevant information about your dental history. For repair enquiries, photos can be helpful before the visit.

  • Yes, we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for denture enquiries and emergency repairs.

  • In many cases, yes. Because we operate a mobile dental laboratory, many denture repairs can be completed on-site the same day without sending them away.

  • Avoid attempting to glue the denture yourself, as this can make professional repair more difficult or sometimes impossible. Contact us as soon as possible and we will assess whether the denture can be repaired.

  • In some cases, yes, but it depends on the extent of the damage and the type of glue used. Glued dentures often require additional work and may not always be repairable.

  • Many dentures can be repaired, especially clean breaks where all pieces are available. However, if parts are missing or the denture is severely damaged, a repair may not be possible.

  • Not always. Simple repairs such as a clean break may not require an impression. More complex repairs, such as missing teeth, broken clasps or multiple fractures, often require an impression to ensure a proper fit.

  • Many repairs can be completed on the same day during the visit. More complex repairs may take longer depending on the condition of the denture.

  • Yes, in many cases a tooth can be added to an existing denture. This usually requires an impression to ensure correct positioning and fit.

  • Yes, we provide complete denture treatment at home, including full and partial dentures.

  • Typically several visits are required, including consultation, impressions, bite registration, try-in and final fitting. The exact number depends on the case.

  • The cost varies depending on the type of denture and treatment required. We provide a full treatment plan and quote after the initial consultation.

  • Repair costs depend on the type of damage and whether an impression is required. We can often provide an estimate from photos before booking.

  • Yes, we have a call-out fee for home visits which includes the consultation, oral examination and travel.

  • Yes, we regularly provide denture care in nursing homes and aged care facilities.

  • Yes, we are happy to communicate with family members or next of kin regarding treatment planning, consent and appointments.

  • We have experience working with patients who may have difficulty communicating. We take a patient and respectful approach and work closely with carers and family members to achieve the best outcome.
